About Templar Protocol
Templar is a decentralized 'cypher lending' protocol that lets Stellar users borrow USDC against XLM collateral directly from their Stellar wallets, without bridges or wrapped tokens. It uses NEAR's multi-party-computation (MPC) network and Chain Signatures to custody deposits and settle cross-chain. On Stellar the collateral asset is XLM; Bitcoin-collateral and Ethereum/NEAR markets exist on its other deployments. The Stellar integration was announced November 2025.
