Bridge is a stablecoin infrastructure company (co-founded 2022 by Zach Abrams and Sean Yu). Stripe's ~$1.1B acquisition of Bridge — its largest ever — was announced October 2024 and CLOSED on February 4, 2025 (not 2024). On Stellar, Bridge issues MGUSD, MoneyGram's U.S.-dollar-backed stablecoin native to the Stellar blockchain, with tokens minted/burned via M0's smart-contract infrastructure.
