Stellar Light Is Live: Real-Time Ecosystem Data, Project Updates, and What’s Coming Next

Stellar Light is now live with fully updated, verified data across the Stellar ecosystem. Explore 230+ projects, real-time stablecoin analytics, community insights from Meridian 2025 and partners, and how Stellar Light becoming the connective layer for builders, users, and institutions. Learn what changed, why it matters, and what’s coming in 2026.

Stellar Light Updates and Changes

We’re live, we’re syncing, and the ecosystem just got a lot clearer.

Over the last few months, Stellar Light has gone through a deep transformation. What started as a simple directory has evolved into a living, data-driven map of the Stellar ecosystem—projects, companies, stablecoins, ideas, and community signals, all kept up to date and connected.

This update marks a major milestone: we are actively refreshing and normalizing company and project data across Stellar Light, making it easier than ever to explore what’s being built, who’s behind it, and how everything connects.

👉 This blog explains what changed, why it matters, and what’s coming next.

Why this update matters

The Stellar ecosystem has grown fast—but growth without structure creates friction. Builders struggle to discover existing tools. New teams don’t know where to plug in. Community members miss out on great projects simply because they’re hard to find.

Our goal with Stellar Light is simple:

turn ecosystem data into shared infrastructure.

This update focuses on three things:

  • Accuracy – verified, refreshed data from real sources
  • Discoverability – better filtering, search, and context
  • Connectivity – linking projects, people, events, and ideas into one flow

Retro impact: what we shipped in the last 3 months

Stellar Stablecoin Explorer

We launched the first unified stablecoin analytics experience for Stellar.

What it includes

  • 22+ verified stablecoins tracked across USD, EUR, JPY, BRL, ARS, GBP, AUD, and more
  • Historical dashboards with 14D, 90D, and 1Y views (supply, market share, active addresses)
  • Top issuer leaderboard (Circle, PayPal/Paxos, GMO Trust, FxDAO, Novatti Group)
  • DeFi visibility: AMM liquidity, TVL, and Blend Capital integrations
  • A curated developer tools directory for payments and stablecoin builders

Why it matters

For the first time, developers, analysts, and institutions can see the full stablecoin landscape in one place, compare options by currency and issuer, and discover real DeFi opportunities—on mobile or desktop.

Ideas & RFP Platform

We launched ideas.stellarlight.xyz as an onboarding funnel for new builders.

What it does

  • Curated project ideas across DeFi, Payments, Infra, Dev Tools, Gaming
  • Difficulty ratings and category filters
  • Moderation and approval workflow
  • Event and hackathon promotion hooks

This platform is designed to plug directly into SCF tracks, hackathons, and partner programs, turning curiosity into contribution.

Meridian 2025, Tellus Cooperative & Passport

A huge part of this progress came from real-world collaboration.

Through our partnership with Tellus Cooperative, Stellar Light played an active role during Meridian 2025, supporting Spanish-language education, onboarding, and community coordination.

This is where Passport came in.

Passport became the connective layer between projects, events, and people—turning Stellar Light into the community graph:

  • Projects discovered users
  • Users discovered builders
  • Events converted into long-term participation

The result wasn’t just traffic—it was retention, collaboration, and real ecosystem momentum.

Data, analytics, and feedback loops

Behind the scenes, we’ve instrumented the platform to learn what actually works.

We now track:

  • Visitor behavior and geographic reach
  • Search queries and filter usage
  • CTA engagement and outbound clicks
  • Conversion paths from discovery → submission

This means future updates aren’t guesswork—they’re data-driven.

What’s coming in 2026

We’re just getting started. Upcoming changes include:

  • Direct SDF intake sync via Entity Airtable (projects + grants)
  • Public launch modules like Top Builders and Emerging Apps
  • Auto-generated monthly ecosystem digests
  • Visual maps of integrations and activity heatmaps
  • On-chain protocol exploration (contract usage, invocations)
  • Hackathon calendar + post-hackathon project tracking
  • Expanded Stablecoin Explorer data via Goldsky
  • AI-powered discovery (e.g. “find an on/off-ramp for EU users”)

The direction is clear: less noise, more signal.

Final word & call to action

Stellar Light is becoming shared infrastructure for the ecosystem—not a static website, but a living system shaped by builders and communities.

If you’re:

  • building on Stellar
  • running a hackathon or program
  • exploring stablecoins or payments
  • or just trying to understand what’s real and active
